Night Hike 'n Stars 2.0

This hike is for teens and adults 12 years old and older.  *A legal parent or guardian must accompany anyone under 18 years old.

This hike is considered a "night-hike" (see description below for mileage and time-frame).  This hike is for EVERYONE 14 years old and older.  You must be comfortable walking at elevation and on flat and/or uneven surfaces, such as in rocky, dirt, crushed gravel, dry, wet, and/or or snowy trail conditions.

There's magic in the darkness and we can be a part of it!  We will hike to a sub-alpine lake in dark, learn about constellations, current night sky phenomena, use our night vision and become nocturnal!         

This is considered a "night hike".  This hike will be approximately 5-hours round-trip, (*5-hour trip includes check-in, driving to/from trailhead, and night hike)

Hike Mileage (round-trip):  2.5-4.5 miles

Terrain:  Maintained trails, dirt, rocks, bridges, dry, wet, snow  

Hiker Skill Level:  Family-friendly/Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
