Welcome to Wonderful Wildflowers! Rocky Mountain National Park is home to hundreds of wildflowers, which grow at different times of the year in different ecosystems based on elevation. We will follow the wildflowers and explore and discover the wildflowers together. We’ll start off at the Estes Park Mountain Shop where you’ll receive your very own Wildflower Field Journal. We’ll take half an hour to design your journal cover and discuss ways to log and draw your field notes. Then we’ll head to Rocky Mountain National Park and take you on a 2-2.5 hour casual hike to look for, discuss, snap photos, and record in your Wildflower Field Journal all the wildflowers we find! Journals and writing/drawing tools are provided.
